The Ocean and Orchard Festival is taking a break for 2016 as the organising committee review and re-invent the event for 2017
Keep an eye on this site for news of the new look festival.
The Kerikeri and District Business Association O and O sub-committee.
The NZ Metservice predicts fine weather and light winds for tomorrow’s 2015 Ocean and Orchard Festival.
A few puffy white clouds floating overhead whilst enjoying the finest Kerikeri foods and wines sounds just great to us, and the light winds will help cool us down whilst grooving to all that great local music talent on the main stage.
Don’t forget you can still get tickets at the gate (but sadly reserved tables are sold out).
Clarks will offer a Paihia bus service – only $5 each way – and will depart the Paihia marina i-Site at 12 noon, and in the evening take you back from Kerikeri domain departing at 6:10 pm. See our festival information page for details.
Found yourself into a sticky jam?
If your last effort at jam making ended up in a sticky mess, then at 2: pm in the Orangewood Food & Wine Theatre you should check out Jamming session with Orangewood kiwifruit orchestrated by The PieHere pioneer himself, Gary Burnett.
Gary will entertainingly lead you through cook’s best kept secrets on making a great jam (the fruit kind, not music) and share his tips on jam making – with Orangewood fruits.
