Kerikeri is the commercial centre of the Bay of Islands, and can be found:
20 minutes north of Paihia
1 hour’s drive from Whangarei
2 ¼ hours drive from Warkworth
3 hours drive from Auckland CBD
Take State Highway 1 northbound, and once through Whangarei, Kawakawa and Moerewa, turn right onto State Highway 10. At the Kerikeri intersection turn right and drive along Kerikeri Road, the gateway to Kerikeri. For the festival, turn right into Hobson Ave at the roundabout, then left into Cobham Road and see the festival on the right located on the Kerikeri Domain. Free parking is available on street and in a number of off-street car parks within 5 minutes walk of the event.
Kerikeri has an airport (Bay of Islands) with regular daily flights from and to Auckland.
Festival gates open at 11am and close at 6pm.
WET WEATHER VENUE
The event will go ahead rain or shine.
The wet weather venue is The Turner Centre on Cobham Road, Kerikeri.
If in doubt check the website or listen to The Hits.
WINE AND BEER SALES
• Only 2 single alcoholic drinks will be sold per patron per purchase
• There will be strictly no bottles sales
• Last alcoholic drinks will be served at 5.30pm or 30 minutes before the end of the event
• Low alcohol options available
• Alcohol will not be served to minors
• Alcohol will not be served to anyone showing signs of intoxication
Organisers and their representatives have the right:
• To search all bags on entry to ensure no alcohol is brought into the premises
• To check ID at any time
Local vineyards produce Syrah, Merlot, Pinotage, Chambourcin, Port, Rose, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris.
Most of the vineyards will have eftpos facilities.
There is a wide variety of food on sale: seafood and meat dishes, vegetarian, fruit and more.
Most food serving portions will average $5 to $8.
There will be food available for children.

Free parking is available in public car parks or on street within 5 minutes walk of the festival.
It is recommended you bring your own water bottle. Note: only sealed, unopened bottles of water may be brought into the venue. There will be a water station for refills.
Shade gazebos are provided on site but numbers are limited so pack sunscreen and a hat.
There is a wide variety of accommodation choices available within walking distance of the festival venue: friendly backpackers’ lodges, motels, bed & breakfast and holiday houses. See the Accommodation page for details.
First Aid will be available at the event.
Lost property will be held at the Festival Headquarters and will be given to the local police at the finish of the festival.
You may appear in photos used for publicity.
No food or beverages are allowed to be taken into the venue (except sealed, unopened bottles of water as above) and will be confiscated on entry unless you have a specific dietary requirement.
Strictly no dogs.
