Back by popular demand…!
A band of eight local musicians, typical of the dance scenes in the 1940’s and 50’s, bringing back the lovely sounds of Glenn Miller, Cole Porter, Gershwin, Jerome Kern and others. Most of the band members have been playing together for well over thirty years. The love of good music combined with exceptional musicianship and experience is what this band is all about.
Very popular at the 2013 festival, the band will again be playing a selection of popular tunes from the 1920’s to the 60’s – fabulous melodies which will have you reminiscing, humming, singing and dancing to the classics of yesteryear.
